NCL-16: Complementary Use and Integration Permission

NCL-16: Complementary Use and Integration Permission#

Permission is granted to use the licensed material for creating complementary functionalities or integrations, with strict restrictions on modifying and exploiting the material in the same situation or functionality.

1. Scope#

The material may be used to:
Develop complementary applications, plugins, or extensions.
Create integrations with other systems, APIs, or platforms.
Implement additional operations or features that enhance or interact with the original material.
Modifications that result in the material being used in the same role, function, or operational context as the original are explicitly prohibited.

2. No Additional Restrictions#

No additional restrictions may be imposed on the creation of complementary functionalities beyond those defined in this rule, unless specified by other NCL rules included in the license composition.

3. Transparency in Derivatives#

Complementary works or integrations must:
Clearly document the relationship with the original material.
Ensure the original material remains unaltered in its primary function or purpose.

4. Disclaimer#

This rule does not grant permission to modify or repurpose the material for competing or identical functions. All complementary uses must comply with the terms of NCL-0 and the broader NCL framework.
Note: NCL-16 must always be combined with NCL-0, NCL-1 and NCL-2, and may coexist with other rules in the NCL framework to define broader or narrower permissions.
