Specialized Subtopic Exams#

Certain roles or industries may require additional certification on specific subtopics.
Subtopic exams may have separate, less or higher fees compared to the main exams.
The availability, cost, and eligibility criteria for each subtopic will be defined in the exam registration portal.
Prerequisites may apply:
Some subtopics are only available to candidates who have passed specific main exams or hold a minimum category (e.g., only Associate can attempt Subtopic A, but only Technical Specialist or higher can attempt Subtopics B or C).
Examples:
Technical Specialist for Hazmat (requires Associate as a prerequisite)
Technical Specialist for Supply Chain (requires Technical Specialist exam)

Pricing#

Associate Exam: $150
Technical Specialist or Business Specialist Exam: $200
Architect or Compliance Exam: $300
Subtopic Exams: Prices may vary; see exam portal for details.

Retake Policy#

A retake costs 80% of the original exam price if taken separately.
If purchased together with the original exam, the retake is available at 40% of the original price.
If you pass the exam on the first attempt, there is no refund for the additional 40% fee.

Validity#

Norsh Exam Approval has no expiration date.
Norsh may introduce or require new subtopic certifications as the platform evolves.

Exam Format#

Each exam consists of up to 80 questions, but the actual number may vary by type and subtopic.
Some exams (e.g., Compliance, Associate) may have fewer questions, while others (e.g., Architect) may have the full 80.
Each question must be answered within a maximum of 3 minutes.
The total exam time will not exceed 240 minutes.
The required passing score is 75%.
The number of questions is not directly related to exam complexity; more advanced exams may have more difficult questions even if the quantity is the same or lower.

How It Works#

Each successful candidate receives a unique approval serial number for verification.
Exams are conducted online, with secure proctoring.
Preparation materials and guidelines are available upon registration.
